R-Type Plugs and Sockets

In response to a request by British Rail, these plugs and sockets have been developed by Custom Design Mouldings to provide a cost-effective and durable method of connecting railway point heaters to their power supplies.

When mated, the connectors provide a robust and reliable anti-vibration connection that is impervious to the ingress of moisture and other contaminants normally found in service. Compatibility with all existing makes of plugs, socket and connector block currently in use is guaranteed. R-Type plugs and sockets are available in 2, 3, 4 and 5-way.
